Guest Speaker: The Rev. JoAnn Post
“Songs In My Head: A Cancer Spiritual”
Startled by the unexpected diagnosis of a rare and often-terminal cancer, JoAnn A. Post chronicles the course her treatment in “Songs in My Head,” a journal written both for her own sake, and for friends, family and colleagues. Now three years past the initial cancer diagnosis, JoAnn will be our guest speaker for Prime Timers Luncheon on Wednesday, November 18 (12:00 - 1:30 p.m.). She will reflect on the interplay of suffering and service, unsettling life events and the unwavering faithfulness of God.
David Wood and JoAnn have known each other for several years.
