The Hubble Space Telescope has had more impact on astronomy and the public's awareness of astronomy than any other telescope in history.  Here’s a brief description of her presentation: Our Universe is spectacular – from unique landscapes in our Solar System, nearby star-forming clouds, and myriad distant galaxies housing hundreds of billions of stars. Michelle Nichols from the Adler Planetarium will present images from the Hubble Space Telescope to highlight beautiful astronomical objects, both near and far.

Michelle Nichols is Master Educator and Astronomer at the Adler Planetarium. She has been employed by Adler for over 20 years and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and astronomy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Education degree from National-Louis University.
Our luncheon begins at noon, followed by
Ms. Nichol’s visual presentation.
The event will conclude by 1:30.  This luncheon event
is free and open to all.  Invite a friend to join you.
