You might remember Rev. Dr. Nate Stucky, Director of the Farminary at Princeton Seminary, who visited GUC twice in 2024; once in the Spring and once in the Fall.

The Farminary is a place where theological education is integrated with small-scale regenerative agriculture to train faith leaders who are conversant in the areas of ecology, sustainability, and food justice. It is designed to train students to challenge society’s 24–7 culture of productivity by following a different rhythm, one that is governed by the seasons and Sabbath.

GUC is planing a trip to visit the Farminary for their 10th Anniversary and to wrestle with these themes for ourselves and to experience the Farminary firsthand!!!

Dates: September 24 - 27

Cost: $699 registration fee, plus airfare and hotel

Transportation: We will fly into either Newark or Philadelphia and depending on numbers, GUC will rent a van or several cars to transport us to Princeton.

Accommodations: We will likely stay at the Hyatt Regency Princeton or something similar.

Next Steps: On Sunday, May 18 immediately following worship we will meet in the Youth Room to learn more about the trip and to answer your questions.
